Our client is the global market leader in diagnostics and information technology solutions for animal health and water and milk quality.
In addition, our Client is the world leader in microbiology testing technologies that ensure safe water and the top provider of diagnostic tests and health-monitoring systems for milk safety and production animal health.
JOB SUMMARY:To carry out all sales and training responsibilities as required for the sale and placement of our Client diagnostic equipment consistent with our Client values and principles, including building customer loyalty. Setting and achieving monthly and quarterly sales goals and objectives relating to the selling of diagnostic equipment.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Acquisition and relationship management with new customers as well as support of current customers (veterinary clinics and doctors)
• Work only in the French part of Switzerland (Secteur de prospection Suisse francophone)
• Increase usage of in-clinic diagnostic test kits, equipment consumables, and capital equipment sales
• Manage time, territory and distributor relations
• Install and train veterinary clinics’ staff on products, including troubleshooting and customer service
• Sales administration, including developing and maintaining account profiles
• Attend trade shows and other educational commitments
• Monitoring of the market conditions and giving feedback to the internal marketing and development teams
• Achieve and maintain technical knowledge of products and services
• Present company values to customers in a professional manner; including understanding the businesses, customers, technology, operations, and processes
• Achieve sales budgets on each product line
• Develop partnerships with veterinary clinics’ staff
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION : Undergraduate degree required or equivalent experience.
Ideally Veterinary background
EXPERIENCE : 2-5 years’ relevant sales experience. Capital equipment/instrument sales experience preferred in pet food or animal product (management or training experience a definite plus).

• Valid drivers license, must drive intensively to meet with customers etc.
• Multi-tasking, creativity, technical aptitude, proven track record, computer skills, and knowledge of veterinary diagnostics preferred.
• Ability to coach, train and develop people as it relates to sales performance, goals and objectives.
• Local country language fluency is required and a good working knowledge in English is a must.
WORK ENVIRONMENT : Extensive overnight travel required; exposure to veterinary clinics; some weekends; and extensive car travel.
