Mathilde Vinchon was for a period of two years was employed in the
Purchasing department of Cargill France in Haubourdin. The Cargill company
is an International provider of food, agricultural, and risk management
products and services.
Mathilde was involved and led negotiations for the purchase of goods and
services, in particular for laboratory equipment and the testing of
cereals. Her ability to work in an international and multi-cultural
environment was essential to the success achieved in these contract
arrangements.
Mathilde demonstrated further her communication skills by becoming the
leader of the key users group for the computer programme Maximo which is
now used for the processing of requisitions into purchase orders.
It was with regret that due to the requirements of the French employment
regulations and restructuring of the Haubourdin operations that it was not
possible to continue the skill development of Mathilde. Her achievements
over the short time she was with the Company suggested considerable future
promise.
I recommend the ability, aptitude, integrity and willingness to accept
challenges of Mathilde. As European Procurement Director these are
characteristics that; if found require to be given opportunity to grow.
